When it comes to the topic of jealousy, most of us can probably agree that it is a feeling we all experienced before whether it was in a romantic relationship or a friendship. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is the question of whether or not jealousy is inborn or learned. Whereas some are convinced that jealousy is a natural feeling, others maintain that jealousy is "the artificial result of an artificial cause" (Goldman 2).
