In All Summer In a Day , Bradbury explains that jealousy and fear can lead you down a path of bad things. He shows the readers this with a character named Margot, who is different from all the other kids on Venus. And the so called normal kids on Venus have a over looming fear that she does remember the warmth and brightness of the sun, leading them to bully her. The kids who don’t remember the sun become jealous of her memories on earth and try to block her out of anything that they do. If being a bully means that your jealousy is guiding your actions then the other kids are jealous. This proving that even if you are a little bit jealous it can lead you to do many more worse things.

As soon as Margot says anything about the sun or even earth the kids become jealous and envis like in page 2 paragraph 3 when the popular kid revokes her poem about the sun and accuses her of stealing it from someone else. “Aw, you didn’t write that!” protested one of the boys” This example can be counted as being jealous of not only what she remembers of the sun but also some of her talents like writing.
