On December 12/03/2017, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra hosted a unique and spectacular jazz concert at the Dr. Philips Center in Orlando Florida. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis spreads holiday cheer on its national Big Band Holidays tour. With soulful renditions of holiday classics, playful improvisation, and entertaining storytelling, they bring out the magic in such favorites as Count Basie’s “Jingle Bells,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and Billie Holiday’s “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm.” The concert was located at The Walt Disney Theater and featured works from several promising musicians who came up with an assortment of unique musical combinations.
