Dear Jay Gatsby you were taken from us here today. I will remember your hopeful look on life.
Jay was they kind of guy that was hard to get to know. He lived in West Egg. What i had learned about his life that he started poor as a farm boy who ran away from his parents at his young age. He made friends with a wealthy socialite Dan Cody and Cody taught Jay everything he needed to know about becoming a gentleman. After he died Gatsby joined the military. But before he went to war he met the love of his life Daisy. Daisy and Jay fell in love. After Gastby returned from the war he found the Daisy was married to someone. This saddened Gatsby and went about making a lot of money so that he could win Daisy back. He had become one of the richest men
