Jay Gatsby Downfall

The past will follow us untill the day we die. No One can pretend to forget their past. Jay Gatsby was one of the few people who tried to forget it but it eventually someone remembered who he use to be.
In the great Gatsby for example, Jay Gatsby pretended to be a rich and powerful man since the day he was born yet that was not the case. Jay Gatsby whose original name was Jimmy Gatz was a poor boy who first joined the war after. When Gatsby is first introduced in the novel he is an extreme rich man who hosted parties every weekend, as the novel goes on it’s later revealed that Jay Gatsby was not really his real name and that he did not grow up being a rich boy he inherited his money by being a bootlegger after he was released from war.

Since what gatsby always wanted was daisy he decided to buy a mansion right across the lake where daisy lived with tom. Nick Carraway, who is daisy's cousin helps Gatsby get close to daisy. Gatsby asks Jordan Baker, Daisy's and Tom's friend, to ask Nick for a favor. He wanted Nick to invite Daisy for a tea at his house. When Daisy arrived Gatsby was really nervous because they haven't seen each other for 5 years. Gatsby was in love with her that he would do anything to make her love him again. She's married to Tom Buchanan and they have a daughter and they seem to be hoppy but in reality they're not. She goes out with Gatsby for a short time making them lovers. One night, Gatsby convinced Daisy to tell tom they mistress and when she did it Tom got really mad and she got scared. She ran out of the house with Gatsby and he drove his car. When she was driving she accidentally hit Myrtle, Tom's lover. She passed away making his husband mad. He wanted to take revenge for his wife's death. Tom told George Wilson thay Gatsby was the murderer. As soon as George knew who the killer was, he entered Gatsby's mansion and he killed
