Introduction
Attention Grabber: The Flash has had his origin story retold differently several times over his many years of publication, with some significant variations in continuity!
Transition: So sit back and relax, as my presentation could be over in a Flash!
Thesis: Amongst all of the alterations made to character the Flash still remains to be the fastest man alive, now I will delve into just why he has been able to maintain that status. II. 1st main point- DC, which is short for Detective Comics over the years has provided us with a plentiful amount of work. All of which started with the least acknowledged speedstar, Jay Garrick.

His father, accused of murdering nora allen, is sent to jail and barry spends the next twenty years devoted to finding the “Man in Yellow.” One night in his CSI lab, Barry was struck by a bolt of lightning and knocked unconscious. The combination of the chemicals in his lab, and the lightning bolt, Barry woke up from a nine month coma, with the gift of the speedforce.

V. Conclusion
Wrap-up sentence- While the Flash notably three popular changes throughout his time, his popularity amongst fans never faded.
Restated thesis- Origin story after origin story, the Flash has had his fair share of revamps over the years. All of which varied significantly in part with the continuity of this beloved and immensely valued comic book character.
