Jaume Plensa and Lesley Dill, not only are incredible artists, but they both appear to be well known in the art world for what they do. Plensa and Dill are roughly the same age and both attended Universities to focus on art. Dill ‘s art work appears to focus on women’s body figures, which is what Plensa has decided to focus on as well “I have come to think that the future is female. First, the letters on the sculptures is a very common characteristic between these two artists’ sculptures. Plensa’s sculpture is composed of letters that create the image, which is also a see through sculpture, whereas the letters on Dill’s sculpture are printed on the outer layer of the figure. Another common trait between these two sculptures is the look of their art works. Both Dill and Plensa’s sculptures are in the shape of a human figure. Jaume and Lesley’s sculptures have each been featured outside in parks, which is another similarity that the two share. Color is another common factor between Plensa and Dill. Even though the sculptures are not the exact same color, they are both light in color. The texture of these two sculptures is very similar as well. The texture seems smooth and even throughout the finished
