Have you ever been an underdog? Have you ever have the satisfaction to win when nobody was excepting you to? If so, you are an inspiration for the people around you because of your faith and your determination in what you are doing. Some underdogs just like you influenced entire country by their touching story. They gave hope to thousand of people during hard times. These person let the society believed that something good is waiting for all of us in the world if we have the strength to fight for what we really want. Let me introduce you to the journey of Jason McElwain and Seabiscuit, two heroes who seized their moment.

Life didn’t spare Jason McElwain. At 2 years old, he was diagnosed autistic. That doesn’t made him feel different insofar and he always lived his passion for sports, especially basketball. Jason always wanted to make the basketball team of his school but he never really fit the profile because of his handicap and his small size. Ornery, skinny with wobbly knees, Seabiscuit was certainly not looking like a racehorse. Considered too tall to be a jockey, Red was homeless and without a job for years. He was blind in his right eye which was inconceivable for a jockey. The destiny of those underdog became tied and eventually neither of them could perform without the other. Red got a serious injury to his leg during a race and the doctor said he would never ride again. Years later, he was miraculously back on track with the ambition of making Seabiscuit and him champion. After a year of training, in front of 78 000 spectators, Seabiscuit and Red won the race. Twice as old as the other horses , Seabiscuit broke the world record. He became an emblem in the United States by giving hope to millions of people during the Grand
