Customer Relations Analysis When I found out about this project we would have to do I immediately thought of my uncle Jason Douglas who works for Micro Beef technologies. Jason has been in the business going on almost twenty years and has a great relationship with numerous vets and cow/calf stocker operations because of his time in the industry. Micro Beef Technologies which is owned by MWI veterinary supplies is the largest distubutor of veterinary pharmisuticles. Threw out the day I was informed that MWI’s parent company which is AmerisourceBergen is a largest human pharmaceutical distributor company for hospitals and pharmacies all over the United States. During our afternoon spent together I listened to calls which helped me understand…
Huckleberry Finn exposes the blatant racism and ignorance that encapsulates all ages, races, and socioeconomic conditions (Twain 12). Mark Twain used his point of view, a Northerner, to expose the disparities in ideologies in the United States caused by…
While traveling on a train to attend a University in Atlanta, he met a bright young fellow who was a student (Johnson, 1989, p. 16). Meanwhile, while walking into a street, The Ex-Colored Man spied a large group of colored people (Johnson, 1989, p. 16). The Ex-Colored Man assumed that the colored people from Atlanta lived on a particular street (Johnson, 1989, p. 17). Despite The Ex-Colored Man wanting to have an insight about Blacks in America, he chooses to talk disparagingly about blacks. He states, the unkempt appearance, the shambling, slouching gait and loud talk and laughter of these people aroused in me a feeling of almost repulsion (Johnson, 1989, p. 17).…
Health cares just trying to make profit. As a child we are told do something in life that makes you happy, if not you will be miserable your whole life. Love it or hate it, Samuel Clemens or remarkably known as Mark Twain novel “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” will always be controversial whether through the use of the racial epithet “nigger” or its stereotypical portrayal of Jim. Many arguments against the novel originates from Twain’s appearingly nonchalant nature towards racism in America. Yet, Twain’s novel gains credibility through revealing the immoral ways of unjust white society that claims to be civilized. Despite Twain’s satirical depiction of the slave society, it is apparent that many view the novel as indisputably racist. Similarly, Jane Smiley author of “Say it Ain't So” would argue Twain’s inability to represent racism and reemphasize the “racism feeling mentality” (Smiley…
At the edge of all light, standing on a cliff above darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing once of two things will happen: there will be something to stand on or you will be able to fly. The novel Hey Nostradamus! by Douglas Coupland illustrates one's spiritual identity at the end of all certainly, through the power of religion and storytelling. Coupland concentrates on the aftermath of what it means to survive, and to continue to believe at the edge of your faith. Hey Nostradamus!…
The series of flashbacks in the movie shows how Jason’s father, Mad Dog, attacked their mother in their childhood. His nightmare in the movie even becomes more devastating when the movie showed that it is Jason, who shot his father, Mad Dog, in the chest accidentally. In this particular scene we see that jason allows his past to control him and everything he does. It is up to the person to follow their dreams; and not let their past affect how they live their lives. A lot of people have made mistakes in their past, but at some point will have to own up to it.…

The Clash of Prejudice and Maturation in To Kill a Mockingbird “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion.” claimed freedom rights activist Nelson Mandela, a statement that generalized the main source of prejudiced hate through time. Since birth, children can learn from their surroundings about the world and how it works, and almost every time, their experiences with other people instill a general sense of opinions and ideas upon the children. These ideals are especially prominent in the deep South after the abolishment of slavery, for it set loose the pure hatred and wrath of racism upon the black community. This is exactly where Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird takes place,…
William Faulkner, an author who was born in post-reconstruction Mississippi, is a classic American author who wrote both “A Rose for Emily” in 1930 and “Barn Burning” in 1939. Both of these short stories illustrate Faulkner’s writing style and personal beliefs. Both stories go to show how very different people can have very similar problems throughout their lives. However, these stories with different plots and characters also show the historical struggles citizens living in the southern states of America faced on a daily basis during this period. Faulkner wrote both of these stories to transpire in similar times, not long before the time Faulkner wrote them, which was known as The New South at this time.…

For example, his cruelty against Huck functions as the perfect tool to exhibit the irrational idea that a person who “always whale [his son] when he was sober” (Twain 14) is considered better that a person of color. Twain continues his social argument through Pap’s racist speech, where Pap describes a black person able to vote as a “prowling, thieving, infernal…nigger”(Twain 28). These accusations only make Twain’s arguments more valid. He shows how the black man has everything a country could want in a citizen (Twain 28), but even then the country favors people as low as Pap.…
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, authored in the late 1800s by Mark Twain, is a widely known and loved novel whilst also being extremely controversial. In Twain’s writing, he dives into deep themes such as racism in the United States, how common and normal slavery felt to people of this time period, and the basic human morals that all people -not just whites- should possess. Twain’s famous novel takes place in the early 1800s, a time period in which inequality and slavery were widely praised and accepted because of how normal and common they were. This novel expresses true examples that took place during this time period, because there are many examples of racism included in Twain’s writing, which could potentially convince the readers to…
A young African-American was wrongly accused of committing a crime during his childhood, just because of his skin color. He graduated within the top five percent of his class, but the false accusations placed on his record are standing in between him and the success of finding a substantial job. The accuracy behind this particular story may not be true, but this is a natural occurrence in 21st-century America. The issue of racism is just as prevalent in modern day society as it was in 1884, when Mark Twain wrote The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Perhaps one of the most famous authors, Ernest Hemingway, once said, “All modern American Literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called Huckleberry Finn.…
