By controlling the environment and the direction of Jason, the treatment can begin to decrease negative behaviors such as smacking himself with his palm when frustrated or when the neighbors yell. Then, it can focus on increasing his language (such as speaking with less blunt, curt answers and not only about dinosaurs) and working on his interaction with his peers.
