Why is Jared the Subway Guy, a positive role model to people especially children with and without health conditions?
Jared was born in Indianapolis indiana and graduated from indiana university. He first came to attention when one of his dorm mates wrote an article about how eating subway helped him lose weight. Men's Health then wrote about Jared in an article titled “crazy diets that work” he said that eating at subway and staying away from mayonnaise and high carb food helped him lose weight. Subway then reached out to him and invited him to be in an ad campaign called in 2008 called “tour de pants” This was his claim to fame.
Many people thought it was too good to be true but jared proved them wrong because many people followed his diet …show more content…
Jared cares about children more than anybody else! Not only did he go around the world talking about healthy lifestyles! He also helped stop bullying by speaking at schools. This shows how much he wants to help support children through hard times.
Another thing jared has done is donate his kidney to somebody who had a nonfunctioning kidney.
On May 17th 2013 Jarred went to a chkd hospital in a small town in north dakota and gave a new life to somebody in need.
This can be another positive example of how much jarred is to people he had to get rid of something important to help somebody who needed it more.
Jarred was bullied as a child but he stood tall and gave so much to people by giving advice on stopping bullies and giving things that are important to him that other people needed more.
Jarred is a positive role model and is a inspiration to many people.
