“Always Keep Fighting” Who would think that those 3 words would have a major impact in the life of many people. But they sure mean a lot specially coming from a person like him. On July 19 of 1982 Jared Tristan Padalecki was born. He was born in San Antonio, Texas. And grew up there as well, he went to High school and was planning on going to college. But after graduating High School he moved to Los Angeles and decided to pursue an acting career not knowing if he’ll make it. He won Fox Broadcasting's 1999 "Claim to Fame Contest"; he subsequently appeared at the Teen Choice Awards, he met his agent there. The first role he had was a minor one in “A Little Inside” which is a film from 1999. In 2000 he was cast as “Dean Forester” In the popular show called “Gilmore Girls” he played that role until 2005. He has been battling Depression and suicide for a few years now. After His friend committed suicide in New years eve he decided he wanted to help people who were going though depression and had suicidal thoughts just like him. He launched a campaign called “Always Keep Fighting”. His first campaign raised funds for “To Write Love On Her Arms” which supports people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. This Cause is particularly close to him, because as stated before he struggled with Depression. For the second campaign in the “Always Keep Fighting” series in April 2015, Padalecki partnered with co-star Jensen Ackles to release a shirt featuring both of their faces, to benefit their newly formed joint charitable fund. Over 70,000 shirts were sold. When he was at San Diego’s Comic-Con over 6,000 fans surprised him by holding up candles for him, this was due to him reveling his struggles with depression earlier that
