Are the Japanese smarter than Americans or are they more discipline than Americans? It seems like Japan is advancing at a faster rate than Americans and it is solely based on the emphasis of education.
Ultimately Japan is has been leading in the field of math and science for years. That said, there is an emphasis placed on education at very early age. Moreover, Americans has not shown the same initiative as Japan, therefore, Americans are viewed as inferior in my eyes. Lynn has proven that if Americans borrowed a page of Japans book, then we could duplicate their success. Furthermore, handwork and discipline also has to be demonstrated to ensure success. Interestingly, Americans do not acknowledge the importance of competition amongst schools,
