Most people enjoy a change of scenery every once in awhile. It can become tedious being in the same routine every single day, in the exact same place. Seeing another country can spice up a person’s life and let them have an experience like no other. All tourists should visit Japan because of the food, the animals, and the natural wonders. There are many different things to do when travelers visit Japan, and one of them is enjoying Japanese food. A staple food in Japan is okonomiyaki. The word okonomiyaki means “grilled as you like it”. It is like a pancake, and you can put a mixture of anything on it. Okonomiyaki is eaten as breakfast, lunch and dinner. Another food is mochi. Mochi is a common treat in Japan, usually eaten as a snack. It is rice that is molded into any shape wanted, and then it is baked. Speaking of snacks, dango sticks are also popular in Japan.
