1. The culture that I would like to study is the Japanese culture. As it is mentioned in the article by Melvin Zax and Shigeo Takahashi, in the Japanese culture the major influences are the parents. During the child development there is constant contact and involvement between parents, new born, and siblings; this creates a close bound within the family members. This bound will affect the child during the rest of their life, which he/she will always put in consideration the opinion of the family first over others. Moreover, this culture represent a strict society, where rules need to be followed to avoid punishment and on the worst case it could cause embarrassment for the family.
