Janet, definitely the nursing process is used by nurses regularly; I agree with you that first the situation needs to be assessed with the job description and talking with staff member. A plan needs to be developed and how to improve the situation; then implementation of the plan needs to follow and finally the evaluation to determine if the plan was effective or needs to be changed. I will recommend continuous evaluations every three months to make sure the improvement is maintained. Janet you did a great job on your discussion.
