I think the most important lessons are the lessons she gave to the third graders. People tend to take childhood memories longer, and it is much easier to build a value system in their mind. Many mindsets are established at the very beginning of exploring the world. Everybody has mindsets, it is a common situation. A huge reframing moment in my life was the moment I found out there are products called makeup! I used to worship myself as a girl looked nice without makeup; moreover, I secretly thought all the girls who needed to wear makeup were originally ugly. I realized that was such a strong confirmation bias when I started to buy makeups. All of sudden, a new world came up. I started to enjoy the process of applying all different kind of products. I felt so shame and sorry for my previous thoughts. That's the moment I redefine the world. Wearing makeup is not about the look, it is about the confidence and the pleasure it gives
