NEW WOMAN Women constitute almost 50% of the world’s population. Differences between men and women and Discrimination against women have also been issues all over the world. In 18th and 19th centuries in India women have been treated like objects that can be bought, used and sold but the status of women all over the world has risen in the 20th century which has brought women the voting Rights, civil rights and many more rights. Women empowerment is the key to strengthen their Participation in the decision making which is very important in socio-economic development. Now special programmes are being designed for training women’s like regular skill developments And etc. It is important to educate and train women to overcome their education deficits and to Develop self confidence but before that it is necessary to secure equal rights on the political and legal plane .Female child has always been considered inferior to males this discrimination has been going on since always.
