My journey to finish my education begin in 2010 as single parent of four boys. I was determined to complete what I started and also be a role model to my own children. In addition, having a career that you are passionate about will promote a since of value and worth. Nursing is a lifelong long experience building on the foundation of evidence based care. The greatest mistake you can make in life is not use your gift and talents you were giving to serve. Consequently, it was imperative for me to pursue a career that will be worthwhile.
Therefore, the Jan T. Sevieri (JTS) Changing Lives Scholarship, will allow me to finish my last semester as nursing student. The scholarship will provide the needed monetary funds to further my future. It
