Jamie Oliver is a well-known celebrity British chef that stars on TV programs and ads but also has his own TV show called ‘Jamie Oliver’s 30 Minute Meals’. Jamie Oliver started the show in England, 2010 and was filming his recipes in his studio kitchen. Families around the world and hardworking people who struggle to cook meals that need to be healthy, affordable and less time consuming, influenced Jamie to provide the solution to simple and easy meals for those people to cook their own healthy meals so that they are not relying on fast food which are high in fats. The background of Jamie’s career being a chef, he focuses on the situations with people not having time to cook meals or doesn’t know how to cook, influences his work to help people with using a calm and easy-going tone throughout his episodes. The relationship between Jamie and his audience is that Jamie looks at the issues people have with their diets and the way people eat food in general and makes up solutions with the on-going health issues with obesity, unhealthy meals, fast food and teaches his audience to see that instead of buying fast food, they can make a healthy meal that is easy and …show more content…
This audience is targeted because in their personal life with work and family, these can take up time and energy towards not making their own meals and mostly rely on fast food and frozen packaged meals to keep them going which leads to an unhealthy lifestyle to have and potentially have health issues due to the lack of good nutrition. The language techniques Jamie used throughout the show are “incredible, gorgeous, crispy, lovely, and refreshing” as this appeals to the audience by the excitement Jamie has when creating each recipe to give the audience and the look of how the dishes are
