The Ministry of food is a centre that teaches people all ages, gender and nationality basic cooking skills with healthy products that will improve our everyday living. It was started by Jamie Oliver to help people live a healthy life, and to be educated about enjoying great food. I think Jamie Oliver created the ministry of food to show people how to cook food and to recognize the strength it has on people’s happiness, health and cash. He purposely put the Ministry of food in selected countries because those countries have bad influences by junk food and unhealthy eating habits. It represented a time of crisis, the British government and Jamie went to people to inspire them about how to nourish their families. Jamie Oliver noticed that in the Second World War that the department of the British government introduced the ministry of food as a way to introduce a sustainable way to eat food, since then Jamie decided to bring this old tradition back.
I believe it is the government’s responsibility to improve the eating habits of Australians for many reasons.
