False Awakenings It was a sunny day in Maple Bays, early in the morning. Stores and restaurants were starting to open and everyone was starting their day. People were driving to work, and kids were getting ready for school. Everything seemed normal except everything was a little… hazy. ¨Yes.¨ He said. ¨BEEP BEEP BEEP¨. I was freaking out. Why is this happening? I jumped out of bed, turned off my alarm clock and just stood there. What do I do? I looked at my hands, still blurry. I guess this meant I was still dreaming. The alarm clock, my hands, what is this? ¨BEEP BEEP BEEP¨. I didn't move, there was no point. ¨BEEP BEEP BEEP¨. The cycle kept repeating. I was going crazy. I looked up how to do this and control it and started lucid dreaming more often, but I would know I was sleeping right away. I could fly, have super speed and do whatever I wanted! Now I guess you could say I was always awake, no wasted time, and I loved

Writing-in-Role: Holden Caulfield (the Catcher in the Rye) Selma Thurmer was Pencey’s headmaster’s daughter and seemed to possess interesting personality attributes, so I’ve decided to write about the scene where Holden talks to her on a bus in the beginning chapter of the Catcher in the Rye. Personally, I wasn’t really in the mood to talk to old Selma, but I figured I’d do so because she sat right next to me on the bus.…

For a dream to qualify as a lucid dream, participants must give the LR2 signal and report their lucidity after waking. 6 of 11 participants, 55%, reported at least one lucid dream.…
