James Shaw As A Hero

Based on the article/video, I would consider James Shaw a hero because of his courageous and brave action. He saw an opportunity to save himself and others and he took it. This makes him an opportunist. “James Shaw Jr. stopped Travis Reinking during the Sunday morning shooting at an Antioch Waffle House that left 4 people dead.” Thus this reason, he is considered to be ideal in my book. He took action when others froze up and decided to run for their lives. When he saw a weak moment from the shooter, he took his chance and attacked him aggressively. James said, “When he (Travis) was trying to reload his gun, I saw my opportunity, my window so I took it and ran through the door as fast as I could.” Shaw did something very heroic in my
