James Rheaume Letter Of Recommendation

Decent Essays
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for James Rheaume. I have known James for the past five years as his acting teacher and theatre director. Simply stated, James is one of the most remarkable students I have taught in my 26 years of teacher. He is more than just an intelligent, hard working, talented young man. James is always willing to take on new challenges and is never afraid to ask those essential questions for personal and artistic growth. He is naturally confident, self-motivated and always strives to achieve his best in everything he does. One of his best qualities is his innate ability to not only think of ways to improve his own talents and abilities, but also the gift to inspire those around him

I appreciate your email response to my previous letter to you in regards of the ongoing drama program under your watch at bridge Academy. I would have expected you to understand that a written response was expected from you given the seriousness of our concern as parents. I will also like you to understand that this is not about Yomi; rather it is about the concept of using this controversial piece of 1920 O'Neil's work as a drama for 13 years old children in the year 2016. It is also about the credibility that Bridge Academy has built and deserve for quite long time as a diverse educational institution which is the motivation behind every parent that choose Bridge Academy as their first choice all the time. This is not the first time Yomi is taking part in the school activities including Drama, we welcome and encourage his participation and we also understand the needs to study expressionism in drama, human rights and responsible leadership in Drama.…

I have known David Purnomo for five years as his US history, speech and drama instructor. With less than 150 students at our school, I am able to observe him in many different situations including field trips, school retreats, plays, concerts and the classroom. Using my eleven years of classroom teaching as a baseline, I can easily place David in the top 5% of students that I have taught. Since 8th grade, David has consistently demonstrated maturity and academic excellence. David was the student who relished the opportunity to perform in the 8th grade play and had all of his lines memorized by the second week of practice.…

As an actor, I have always struggled to bring forth the maturity that Shakespeare requires, along with attempting to break from the ‘musical theatre’ mold I have thrown myself into. I want to go to RADA not because I am the best, not because I am experienced, but because RADA is. The faculty consists of many renowned actors, directors, and teachers alike. More often than not, whenever I am enjoying a movie, television show, or play, upon looking into the actor I am most impressed by I find that at one point or another, that actor has attended RADA. Beautiful artists like Vivien Leigh, Anthony Hopkins, and Alan Rickman.…

What does theatre mean to me? As I review the questions provided for me to include in my goal statement, I feel lucky to express how theatre is unique to me and how I structure my everyday life around the dramatic arts. Anytime I act, I relish in the opportunity to be a leader, to help people, and to accomplish my actions with confidence. I started off with this philosophy at an early age and have not forgotten about it since. In my opinion, acting is not solely about the individual’s performance, but about how an individual actor can use their confidence and passion to impact other actors, enhance a production, and inspire the audience.…
