I have chosen Raymond James Financial Inc. for this essay. Their mission statement as noted by the www.missionstatements.com site is “Our business is people and their financial well-being. Therefore, in the pursuit of our goals, we will conduct ourselves in accordance with the following precepts: Our clients always come first.” Their web site can be found at the following address: Http://www.raymondjames.com/
Their mission statement reflects a direct, clear approach to what they do. It focuses on people and their money. Looking at their Mission Statement under the “About” tab, I note a rather expanded version of the mission statement which seems more in line with the expectations set in our reading material. Scrolling over the headers results in an additional drop down menu. In the main area of the home page there are linked images clearly directing a prospective client to what it is they do for individuals, their charitable giving and how they can find a local advisor. It is a direct approach that highlights several of their mission points including giving back, communicating clearly and assisting clients.
Below those three main images are other links that highlight additional areas of service beyond just individual wealth management, as well links to their fiscal reports, quarterly reports and other details of their business. This is in line with their commitment to communication, superior investments and integrity.
Moving across the top navigation, one can find links to Market Commentary and Research, which allows clients and interested parties to educate themselves on market conditions, investments and the economy in general.
Looking at their Corporations and Institutions tab highlights Raymond James’ various holdings and businesses, which all lead back to the financial services sector, from banking to mortgages and more. This speaks to teamwork, assisting their clients and potentially, superior service and
