James Madison was the 4th president of the united states of America. He was born March 16, 1751.In Belle Grove, Port Conway, Virginia. He was the first-born child of 12. His parents were Nelly Conway Madison and Col. James Madison. James had three sisters, and three brothers who lived to adulthood. Five of Madison’s siblings died as infants or as children. He lived with his father and siblings in a little farmhouse. But that changed when his Father Nelly Conway married. James and his family moved into a big plantation. This and attacks of Indians in the night were his most vivid childhood memories. Surrounded by seven younger siblings who loved and respected him. He was able devour books and study different languages under private tutors.
