James Holmes was born in San Diego, California. He lived in many parts of California throughout his life and he attended college in California. “James Eagan Holmes was born on December 13, 1987, in San Diego, California. Holmes graduated from Westview High School in Rancho Penasquitos, California, in 2006. That summer, he interned at the Salk Institute of Biological Studies. Terry Nichols was born in Lapeer, Michigan which is the place he grew up in. “Nichols became one of America’s most infamous domestic terrorists”(terry). The vehicle contained a 4,000-pound bomb made of fertilizer, diesel and racing fuel. It went off shortly after 9 a.m., a time when most people had already arrived for work.
