James Garner plays a role as a wealthy entrepreneur business man whose character name is Cash McCall. He is passionate about being a company man and enjoys making money. James Garner had a fling with Natalie Wood which was Lory Austen before realizing what family she came from and who her father was. Business was an important aspect in Cash McCall’s lifestyle as well as Grant Austin’s. Cash McCall’s physical appearance attracted the women. He was tall, muscular, and a well-built man. Cash had little wrinkles to his face, manicured hair, and obtained high knowledge and emotional intelligence. His apparel consisted of businesses suits either black, navy, or tan while complimenting it with a tie. He gave the vibe to women that he had power, money, …show more content…
He was the youngest of three sons, and was considered the “trouble maker” child of them. His family were Methodists, and fought against a tragedy at age five when his mother passed away. His father remarried and shortly after it broke up, he moved to Los Angeles leaving his sons to defend on their own. When James Garner reached the age of 16, he joined the United States Merchant Marine at the end of World War 2. A few years later, Garner went back to attend Norman High School, and dropped out his senior year. Then he enlisted in the National Guard serving for 21 months earning two Purple Hearts and the first Oklahoman drafted into the United States Army during the Korean War. He knows when to be serious and knows when there is time for humor. Cash is bold, imaginative, and strong-willed. He can always find a way or make one to be a successful. Cash is the type to run after what he wants if he wants it bad enough, and has been taught to fight for what he loves.
