This paper will go into detail about the life and thought process of a mass murder and what would make him want to kill so many people and harm so many people. Holmes was born on December 13, 1987 in San Diego. Son of a nurse and a mathematician. He lived in the suburbs, went to church every Sunday. Kids sometimes said he was not insane but not crazy. Little did they know years down the road he would kill 12 people and injure 70 causing a gut churning massacre. Holmes went to college to study to be a neuroscientist. In his free time he would volunteer at a camp for underprivileged kids.
