Why is Jamaica so special?
Within the Great Antilles, in the Caribbean Sea on the island with the same name, there is Jamaica, relatively small country, but a famous and popular travel destination. The capital of Jamaica is Kingston.
Jamaica is becoming a popular tourist destination in the early 20th century. 120 kilometers of long sandy beaches, several waterfalls, six mountain ranges, lush vegetation, impressive landscape, a rich mixture of cultures are main characteristics of the Jamaican island, visited every year by over a million tourists from all over the world.
Thanks to legendary musician Bob Marley, Jamaica is well-known by reggae music. One of the island's tourist attractions is the museum in Kingston's capital, dedicated to Bob Marley. The museum is located in the house where this famous musician lived.
