The objective is the eradication of tuberculosis and bovine brucellosis in the state; the 61 REEMO checkpoints will be in 31 municipalities
As part of the Strategic Project for the Eradication of Tuberculosis and Bovine Brucellosis in Jalisco, 61 checkpoints of the Electronic Registry of Mobilization (REEMO per its acronym in Spanish) will be located in 31 municipalities in order to make health control more efficient.
With this measure, there will be continuity both on the zoosanitary diagnostic tests and the updating of livestock statistics. This cattle region concentrates 682 thousand head of cattle owned by 16 thousand producers.
