Although some may disagree The theme of self identity is clearly the most evident concept embodied within the film. As stated before, through the Avatar audiences can see two contrasting viewpoints, that give insight into Jake sully's development and growth as a character. through his choices to betray his own kind and join the vulnerable Navi to fight on their behalf, Jakes self identity begins to unfold.through the films antagonization of the humans and glorification of the Na’vi the film makes it obvious that it wishes the audience to view the Na’vi as little different than us, even going as far as them being considered’ people’. Through the plot and presentation it is also evident that the film considers the physical body to be not essential
