Jake hill seemed to be an average teenage boy. He lived in portland, oregon, usa. He lived in what was considered the mortal world.
Jake’s day started of normal enough. At least as normal as ever for him.

” “He let out a shriek.” his mom called to him: “is everything ok in there honey?” “Yeah… just thought I saw something.”
“Oh hades!” she said under her breath. “Get in the truck jake.” said,jakes mom “mom is everything alright?” “just get in the truck jake.” “what the--” “just do it jake - NOW! He didn’t waste a second. He did exactly as he was told. He sprinted toward the truck and buckled his seat belt, because he had a feeling his mom would not be driving like a good, loyal, citizen. His mom told him that they were going to a camp. About 20 miles out of portland in a valley.
“When they arrived he was in complete shock.” he was escorted into the valley by a centaur dressed in a leather jacket from his waist up and… well fur from his waist down. He said his name was chiron, the trainer of hercules. Jake gaped at him in awe.
