Jaggery Character Analysis

In the book Charlotte Doyle. She is excited to go on the voyage with 2 other families with kids her age. The two other families are scared of the ship but Charlotte is left, the only girl and child on the ship. She also does not have her parents. A man named Mr. Grummage a very serious man brings here to the ship on the way there the people carrying the suitcases are scared of many times by the infamous Captain Jaggery and the a ship the Seahawk.. Waiting to get on the ship she sees somebody sneak in. She dismisses it. Finally she gets on the ship and is escorted to a tiny cabin. A sailor named Zachariah befriends her a dirk or a type of knife and says she might need it. The voyage starts as planned and Charlotte starts become friends with …show more content…
Then feeling guilty and hated by both sides she proves that she can be a sailor by climbing the the top sail. Jaggery is put in a tight spot. Soon after becoming a sailor she has to deal with a hurricane. She survives as a sailor until she is accused of the murder of Mr.Hollybrass. She goes through a “fair trial” and the verdict is guilty. She then is taken to the brig where she meets Zachariah and how they they plan to not die. Mr.Keetch brings them down food. Zachariah and Charlotte eventually figure out Jaggery know they're down here. They then hatch a plan to to steal the key to the gun safe but Mr.Keetch happens to be a spy for Jaggery and Jaggery is there.They run around the ship and Jaggery falls of Mr.Keetch is told to be quiet or else. Charlotte becomes captain but Zachariah does most of it they sail back to Providence and they blame the storm to be the cause of Jaggery’s death. Charlotte has trouble with her parents. Because her journal her father said was atrocious. She has to stay in her room. Eventually she can get out and decides to find Zachariah on the Seahawk and at the end she sees Zachariah and says hi before he rides into the

Like in Edward Bloor's book “Tangerine” Erik, Pauls older brother made many choices that affected Paul or somebody else, most of the time in a bad way.
