There was a slashing sound in the dark. She screamed in pain. It was through her neck. No one heard her. She lived alone and in the middle of nowhere, so there weren’t people for miles. A week before, everything was going pretty normal for Jade… Jade was the captain of the cheer squad, and she was also the fastest runner in track. She was attending Iron Field High School as a Junior. Her appearance was appealing to most of the school staff and administration, so she was elected for about all the extra-curricular activities.
