The first rejoice/call we see from the people to God, is about the shepherds of Israel. They call out to God, because he “led Jacob like a flock.” He led Jacob because; God made a covenant with him, and led him through the lands. Jacob soon after became a leader, as well as his descendants. He helped with many things; he was imperfect but was still loved by God. Because of this, the people asked that God shine before the tribes that they have, and lead them, as he did Jacob.
The tribes were odious and separated, their tribes names were; Ephraim, Simeon, and Manasseh, these were in the north. There were also Judah, and Benjamin, these were in the south. Altogether there were 12 tribes; these ones that I have listed were the more “major” ones. Ephraim was one of the children of Joseph. I know this, because they kept praying to God, and knew he would come through eventually. But this is something you see occur a lot in the Bible and in modern day life. People don’t respect your beliefs, and mock those beliefs. But what happens when you mock their religion? They get angry, and wonder why you are doing that. But that doesn’t mean you do, what they do to you (mock). Keep it to God to deal with them, and go about your business, kill them with kindness and a smile. As we can see, that is what these tribes did; they kept with themselves, and prayed to God.

So, they prayed to God that he would build a city for all the tribes that would cover the mountains with its shadows. God had already done this before; He had built many cities outside of Egypt for the Israelites. He created a land of abundance for them, so the different tribes trusted in God to do the same for
