First time I read this story,I just felt confused.There were some questions that I can’t understand initially.Why Jackson wants to win the regalia back by himself rather than asks police for helping?Why he can spent all the money he earned just for treating others?Why different Indian tribes were mentioned across the whole story and what is the relationship between those tribes? …show more content…
Jackson seems like a crazy man.He tried to raise the amount that is impossible to him within one day.From my perspective,I think Jackson just want to have an aim for perseverance.He was living without an aim for a long time,he was feeling boring and tried to find something for raising himself.So he worked hard,tried everything he can do for getting a thousand dollars.The regalia was a incentive that pushed he to work instead of did nothing day by day.
He also is a generous and kind-hearted man.He treated every Indian he met as his friend,or maybe his family.Whatever he or her was belong to which tribe.I have lack of knowledge about Indian,but I can sure that Indian was constituted by many different tribes.Even though,Jackson still treated them fairly and with no discrimination.And I guess this is the main idea that author want to deliver.There are nothing different between one tribe and other
