Jackson 5 and One Direction are boy bands each with five family members. Jackson 5 were a group in the 70s and were all, in fact, brothers. They were taught their music by their father and the lead vocals were the famous “King of Pop”, Michael Jackson. The names of the members in Jackson 5 were Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson. They formed their band in 1964. On the other hand, One Direction was formed by each of the singers entering a television show called The X Factor UK. Each of them entered as solo artists, however, they came together as the opportunity came. Simon Cowell helped form the band, One Direction, in 2010. The members of One Direction are Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik.

He only allowed the five brothers few outside interests. He believed that the boys should gravitate to music since he had played the guitar in an R&B group called the Falcons. The Jackson children recalled being severely beaten by Joe for misbehaving. One day, Joe caught the Jackson 5 playing his guitar and when one of the strings broke, he had gotten furious but later realized that the boys had talent and began making plans to create musical art for them. Both bands are hardworking and are really talented and lucky. Both of the bands had the courage and bravery to try something that they love and actually go out there.
