Jack's Run Book Report

After reading your book “Jack’s run” I am writing you this letter to you because I have some questions and suggestions, one of many questions I have is how was it possible for all of the people who rescued Jack and Joane be able to go into Alonzo Aznar’s room at the hospital. Another question I have is why the kids werent under more supervision with both there parents gone and with Alonzos trial coming up. The reason why I am writing this to you is because so far I have really enjoyed these series of books so far and would like to know the perspective of maybe Joane or Alonzo Aznar/Zita. I would like this too happen because on page 186 you wrote “If only Alonzo would awnser her emails.” So this interests me because I wonder what is happening …show more content…
The reason why I think that would be a great idea for a book is because it would give a diffrent perspective on what was going on with the kids being kidnapped. I think it would give a big tone towards the other characters and help us understand better about how complicated the situation is. I think you should do that because if we understood how they were handling things with out Alonzo we would be given and in sight on why Zita was very stressed or not very stressed at all. I think that because the actions and the things she did, did not seem like things they would usually do. I know that they were under time pressure and Alonzo was in jail but it was very unclear to me of she was very stressed or not stessed at all. Another thing is was why we didnt get an explanation of what happend to Joane’s roommate, we know that she was tricked into flying to Canada for a fake commericial but when she got there was no one there or was she kidnapped too? I think that there are many parts of this book that are left unexplained. I would still like to know what has happened to the roommate and if she was kidnapped what happened, and what about rapheal he was injected with the “fake” heart attack, but the Aznar family are not poor, why cant they take that pill out of them and start up there drug

The third Athenaeum was giving by writer Joshua Shenk. The majority of the Athenaeum consisted of Mr. Shenk reading a passage of the book he was writing. The book, as Mr. Shenk discussed, focuses on the life of Bill Wilson, the creator of Alcoholics Anonymous. Mr, Shenk said that he found Bill Wilson’s life interesting because Bill Wilson was placed on a pedestal by the people he helped through Alcoholics Anonymous, but he struggled with his own problems such as addiction to LDS and depression. Good morning teachers and classmates. Texts that are distinctly visual have the common purpose of being capable of manipulating the way the audience explore and interpret the images they see. The film “Run Lola Run”, directed by Tom Tykwer is distinctively visual due to the strong reference of unique images. The modernist poem “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock”, by T.S Elliot also creates a distinctively visual experience in an opposing sense. The themes of love and time are established through the use of language and film techniques within both texts.…

I just have to say before asking or commenting about your astonishing book Incantation, I want to say that you are a wonderful author and I am surprised by every sentence I read in your books. For example you surprised me when Cathelina caught Estrella and ANdres kissing, while I was reading that even I got the feeling of being scared of Cathelina. I agree with Joe de Madrigal, that it was a good idea to not tell Estrella that they were Jewish because when they did that's when Estrelas feeling toward Andres grew rapidly and the massacre began. I do not really understand why you do not make a second book because you are really talented, and I want to know if Estrella and the remaining of her family makes it to Hamsterdam. How do you come…

Reading the first part of the story I did not think the story would end with finding a dead man on the ground. My feelings toward the story were surprised because the way the story started off there were no clues of the ending. In paragraph 5 things started to turn around because he authors gave out warning of what was about to happen. I was also surprised at how little Myop reacted to finding a dead body. The way she reacted was not usual for a ten year older a regular ten year older would go crazy but instead she was willing to do others things to find out what was going…

Case Study-Jack • Do you think that Jack’s current unwillingness to become vulnerable to others out of his fear of “being dependent on them and trapped by their love” has much to do with his mother’s unconditional love? Although we don’t have much information about Jack’s early years, his difficulty establishing intimate relationships would point to issues at the oral stage by Freud’s interpretation. In this paper, the texts “1984” by George Orwell and “The Maze Runner” by James Dashner will be compared and analysed, in specific the language and stylistic features used to portray the different perspectives on the ideas of oppression and helplessness. The point of view of “Big Brother” and the theme of higher power are vastly used in both of these texts, along with both the conforming and rebelling point of views, all of which will be examined in this paper. In both novels, “1984” and “The Maze Runner”, a “Big Brother” point of view is portrayed through language and stylistic features in the texts, and these techniques show how this unknown and seemingly mysterious higher power can manipulate and control the characters. The key similarity…
