Jack has a savage leadership style. Jack criticizes the littluns for being scared of the beast. The littluns “don’t hunt or build or help-you’re a lot of cry-babies and sissies” (Golding 82). Jack is putting down the littluns for not helping. This is Jack’s style yelling at the boys. Jack yells at Ralph by criticizing him just like he did to the littluns. Jack asks Ralph “who are you anyway? Sitting there telling people what to do. You can’t hunt, you can’t sing-” (Golding 91). Ralph is not a savage like Jack he can not hunt so in Jack’s eyes if you cannot hunt you can not order people around.
