Many players did not like the feedback Trump said about the NFL at one of his conventions, he stated "Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, out, he's fired. He's fired!". Those harsh words were replying to Collin Kaepernick’s silent movement and how his actions have spread throughout the whole NFL from team to team. There are still many actions of racism around the World and people either fight back or just take it in. Back then, you were not able to fight back. If you fought back, you end up going to jail. Others can learn how the World was crucial to minorities back in the day, if you did not have white skin, you would get made fun of and called names. Minorities were angry with all the name calling that was happening and to this day some athletes stand up for themselves in “Black lives matters” or “I can’t breathe” because of all the hateful actions that has gone around in this World. Not long after Bennett discharged an announcement depicting how cops pointed a firearm at his head, physically struck him and undermined to “blow (his) f—ing head off”. Kaepernick stood up for Bennett by sharing what happened and how being an African American man can be harsh at times. Racial profiling has always been a huge cause for killings and conflict in the U.S. for many years. Bennett believes he was racially profiled in Vegas since he was the only African American in his group. Kaepernick and Bennett have been two of the most vocal NFL players with regards to the social disparity. Bennett is one of the numerous players who has taken up Kaepernick's national song of praise dissent, and he as of late clarified why he will keep on kneeling going ahead.
Surprisingly, sports brands like Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, etc, have full support on their athletes as they go through racial aggressions from Trump’s comments and the racial profiling their athletes receive from society. CEO of Nike, Mark Parker states “I am proud that Nike stands against discrimination in any form,” Parker said. “We stand against bigotry. We stand for racial justice.
