My Hero April 15 1947, BOOM! The baseball goes flying into left field high and far Leon Culberson going back to the warning tracks,Jackie Robinson rounding first base going two.Jackie was the first black person to go to the major league and broke records while in the Major league of Baseball he broke the record of baseballs color line and changed the game forever.Jackie Robinson is my hero because he broke color barriers, never gave up on himself, and was hardworking.Jackie Robinson was dark skin,dark hair ,tall ,and medium, He was really confident in baseball Jackie Robinson changed the game of baseball because he broke barriers to get to where he was. He was the first the first black person to play on the Major League of Baseball. He always played hard every time he was on the field even when he was injured, He didn't get angry at the other coaches when they called him names. Jackie had to stay calm when that happened or else the umpires would ejected him from the game if he did something to the coaches because he was a different race.He always …show more content…
After he was retired him and his wife had another 2 kids and moved back to Brooklyn and stay in Brooklyn until Jackie got sick. When Jackie got sick him and his wife went to the hospital and stayed there for a few months until Jackie died in 1972 of heart problems and diabetes problem.
