In the movie 42, Jackie Robinson was a legendary baseball player who played during the 1940’s. He was the first African American to play in the Major League Baseball. As the first African American, Jackie Robinson faced a lot of racism and segregatetion from the other Major League Baseball players, coaches, teams and fans.
