Dan Gutman’s life started off on October 19, 1955. At age 61 now he has no wife or children. He has written a lot of books that I like and read. Dan got his education at Rutgers University. Over his lifetime he is one of the best authors, and has won quite a bit of awards.
Summary
The main character of this book is Joe Stoshack. He has special powers that he travel back to time with baseball cards. He loved baseball and had a bit of a temper, that can get in his way easily. Jackie and his wife let him stay there till he went back. The next day Jackie was going to play his first MLB game. He was nervous as heck in the morning. Jackie offered Joe to got to the game with him. When they got there they went to the locker rooms and got changed. Joe and Jackie put their bags in the locker and went on. Joe went to the conference room not know where he is going, and met the bat boy. Joe could tell his family was loaded. When they met the bat boy asked if he was the new bat boy they were expecting. He lied and said yes cause he wanted to do that. The bat boy was rude and called Joe names, which set off his temper, Joe got mad and ran to hit him right when Jackie stopped him. Jackie told him to control his anger and then they went on the field to warm up. The white players didn't want to warm up with Jackie, so Joe went and played catch with him. Jackie threw hard and when they were done Joe’s hand was throbbing with pain. The time went on and they were up to bat in the first inning. When Jackie went to bat the crowd started to call him names and mean things. Jackie tried to fight it off by just focusing, but when he tried and tried to hit the ball he
