Jack Trump Persuasive Speeches

No words can fully capture the horror, disgust, and anxiety I feel concerning the results of the election that just took place. I am disappointed in my fellow Americans and feel short-changed by the democracy we live in. Trump is a figure who represents every negative facet of modern America. On countless occasions, he has proven to be racist, sexist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, ableist, and misogynistic. He is reckless and callous with his speech, and his behavior is simply disturbing. From mocking a disabled journalist to sexually assaulting multiple women throughout his lifetime, Trump has proven to be unworthy of trust and respect. His role as the head of this country threatens our international relations, particularly with Eurasian and Middle Eastern countries. He has stated that he would not fulfill America’s responsibilities to allies unless they served our purposes, and his character has caused a Middle Eastern leader to declare that America would not be allowed continued access to their weapons if Trump won the election. His disgusting comments about women, from objectifying them -even his own daughter- to calling them pigs, represent an attitude that should be unacceptable in today's society. He does not treat the women in his life as equals, so there is no reason to presume that he will promote equality of the sexes during his presidency. His overtly racist tendencies have perhaps had the most harmful impact on the US in the past few months. Since his campaign took off, harassment of people of color has skyrocketed. Verbal and physical assault of minorities has increased, leading to a significant percentage of the nation living in fear of abuse from their countrymen. All sorts of hate crimes have risen exponentially in the wake of Election Night, from hijabis being humiliated in public to college students being threatened on campus with phrases like "No n*ggers

In the first hundred days of Trump’s presidency, he continues to show his and lows that everyone will remember in history. The American people are exceedingly mixed on his actions that he performs in office or what he tweets on his phone; depending on what poll you go to. Although it’s been a few months, Trump has provided enough to reveal what areas he acts as a leader and where he behaves carelessly. Regardless if these positions or issues that Americans agree with or not. Trump’s effective and ineffective moments as a fox/lion, his poor use of cruelty, and dealing with the people and the great, always produce a negative from the American…

Donald Trump’s, our 45th president, speech on Charlottesville was meant to temporarily heal, almost like an Advil. Donald begins with explaining his appearance, what the current situation is, he begins trying to make the situation positive when it was not. Furthermore, President Trump had failed to speak more on the state of the country on that sad day, which lead to him receiving criticism. There are many ways on how a person should react to certain things within the country, some would say that President Trump seemed emotionless while others would think that he was doing the best he could in his position. Domestic tranquility in the United States is outlined by the Constitution and can be better understood as the way in which society lives in harmony (Wilson). Unfortunately, society has not reached a state of tranquility yet. This can be traced to ideas of racism, sexism, and other means of discrimination in the United States. Although some strides have been made to try and counteract these modes of discrimination, society has recently taken a step back in its development towards a tranquil state. Specifically, the rhetoric used by Donald Trump has been linked to ideas of racism and sexism.…
