The story would have ended there except Mary Kelly got intoxicated and told the story of Annie and the Prince and the identity of the baby and was peer pressured by three of her friends Mary Ann Polly Nichols, Annie Chapman and Elizabeth Stride into blackmailing the government. The Queens of England’s physician was once again called upon to “solve” the problem. He and a friend named John Netley ventured into the East End and killed the women according to Masonic ritual. But it doesn’t stop there; Catherine Eddowes murder was a case of mistaken identity, as she used the name “Mary Ann Kelly” when arrested on the night of her death. After her death, the graffiti message left in Goulston Street was left to point to the Masonic ritual murderers. All of the five women that experts knew were murdered had ties to Prince Albert Victor. "Casebook: Jack the Ripper - The Royal Conspiracy."

It is noted in the documentary that although many people would say that the murderer shouldn’t be focused upon, it has become a huge area of interest for many historians even after nearly an entire century has passed. It particularly focuses on the cartoon type image that was created in the media during that period of time, which emphasises the mystery and sensationalism of this mystery figure in Victorian London. It continues by introducing the journal that was discovered in 1992 and shows the newspaper articles that were published during the time that this document had been discovered. Peter William Sutcliffe otherwise known as ‘The Yorkshire Ripper ' was arrested on January 1st, 1981 after a murderous spree which spanned five years and claimed the lives of 13 women and attempting to murder a further seven (see appendix for details of victims). The case engulfed the nation as one of the most brutal in modern history since that of ‘Jack the Ripper ' in the 1800 's hence why the media adopted the term ‘Yorkshire ripper ' when addressing the case. Although known for the heinous crimes and number of them the case is also infamous for the failings of the West Yorkshire Police force in its hunt of Sutcliffe. The tension throughout West Yorkshire left neighbour suspecting neighbour and women afraid to be out at night alone. Despite the efforts of the police force, it was a standard patrol with an experienced officer who was training another that caught Sutcliffe and brought an end to his spree.…

The Yorkshire Ripper Hoaxer: case study of Speaker profiling and speaker comparison in Forensic linguistics 1. Introduction “[....] the listener does not necessarily hear what was said, but rather hears their construction of what they think is said; they subconsciously combine the speech signal (the sounds) with prior knowledge of speech, language and context in their own heads (Fraser 2003, cited in Coulthard, et al 2017 p.130). Those words, indirectly, call for reconsideration of distinguishing a voice as a natural task. Coulthard, et al 2017 mentioned in the findings of a study done by Bruce (1958, cited in Fraser 2014) that notwithstanding the fact that they had listened to the same utterances, the participants perception to “masked” words they were listing to, has differed in reaction to key words, such as “weather.” This being said, this paper will not discuss the ability of the lay person to identify a voice.…
