Working in the fields is a job that any person in need of a job will take to sustain their families. Both of my parents have sacrificed many sleepless and overwhelming days to give my sibling and I the opportunity to have a better life and education. They don’t want us to be like every other teenager who finishes high school and ends up working in the fields. My parents are the people who are willing to give their children everything they need to be happy even though it leaves them with nothing. Which my goal is to give back to them for all of their sacrifices they have done for me. As their older child, I would be the first in our family attending college.
