The main character Jack relates to Locke based off the information told of both people wanting to prevent chaos. The setting plays a big part in the novel, “Lord of the Flies”. On a tropical island in the whereabouts of the Pacific Ocean, the become abandoned. The environment on the island It is an environment that consists of loneliness. The boys live alone on the island, without any punishments for bad doings, no rules, or education. So that leads to their thought of be able to do whatever they want to do on their own.
