The characters Ralph and Jack are different in the way they lead. Jack could be described as violent, harmful, and uncommunicative whereas Ralph could be described as a trustworthy, equal, and communicative leader. For example, Jack demonstrates harmful language towards Piggy when Ralph and Jack came back from the mountain where they went to discover the mysterious bulge that was claimed to be the beast. Piggy kept asking questions about the beast and about their safety but Jack snapped at him. “...Ralph jerked away from him and walked a few paces along the beach.…

Should mere suggestion prove insufficient, Frost can send a surge of energy into the mind of another person, overwhelming their body with her consciousness and allowing her to take possession of their faculties for a limited amount of time while leaving her own unattended. Frost can 'suggest' to any amount of minds within a certain radius of herself--generally 60 miles--though such a feat can and will become taxing. In the event that Frost must act quickly in her defense, she is capable of channeling a bolt of pure psychic energy from her brain to the brain of another person.…

These thoughts have been created because of past experiences like isolation. The fact that he is trying to make friends with a snowman shows his severe desperateness and also the fact that he can relate with the snowman is just sad. Robert Frost’s “Desert Places” is a somber, introspective journey through a barren landscape choked by the smothering presence of snowfall. Although the poem begins with a lens trained on the surrounding landscape, the narrator’s thoughts eventually turn inward by the final stanza as the narrator compares the current frozen landscape to the vast desert of isolation and loneliness within himself. As the poem closes, the narrator comes to a realization which is—in a way—comforting but equally frightening: the pervading chill and darkness around cannot scare…
