Jack Finney is an American author, born on October 2, 1911 and passed away on November 16, 1995. His best work that he has done is in science fiction and thrillers. Jack was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After moving to New York and working in the advertising industry, he began writing stories for popular magazines like Collier’s; He also attended Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. He married “Marguerite Guest” and they had two children, Kenneth and Marguerite. His first novel, "Five against the House", told the story of five college students. A year later he published "The Body Snatchers" (later reissued as "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"). Mr. Finney maintained that the novel was nothing more than popular entertainment. The 1956 film
